Our Mission:  Building a fun family -- encouraging, supporting and respecting each other in social, educational and volunteer activities.

We were founded twenty-five years ago. Our 80 or so members form a rather diverse organization. Members range from their early 20's to early 80's. Members are singles and couples, from students to CEO's. We live throughout the area, from Chicago land to Wisconsin. NSG is open to anyone 21 years of age or older.

We regularly sponsor one major social event each month, held in the homes of one of our members. This provides a warm atmosphere in which to mingle and get to know each other. At these events, which at holiday times are potluck dinners, other times, a cocktail-type party, we feature a cash bar with sodas & soft drinks for a nominal charge and free snacks and appetizers. Occasionally we schedule special events such as theater, cruises on Lake Michigan, bowling and the like. Members receive a monthly newsletter reporting on past events and upcoming activities.

Our NSG Info Line, (847) 251-8853, is staffed from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, weekdays, and 10:30am to 10:30pm on weekends.
